Stinky Creek Restoration for Apache Trout

This project will assist in the recovery of the threatened Apache trout by removing nonnative trout from 2 streams (8 miles total) and reestablishing pure Apache trout.
First, Apache trout and speckled dace were salvaged from Stinky Creek. Then,
nonnative brown trout were removed from 2.5 miles of Stinky Creek in July 2007. Afterwards, Apache trout and speckled dace were restocked.
Objectives:
- The objective is to assist in the recovery of the threatened Apache trout by removing nonnative trout from 2 streams (8 miles total) and reestablishing pure Apache trout.
