Conklin Creek Restoration for Apache Trout

Assist in the recovery of the threatened Apache trout by removing nonnative trout from 2 streams (8 miles total) and reestablishing pure Apache trout.
Nonnative brown trout and hybrid Apache-rainbow trout were removed from 6.5 miles of Conklin Creek in June 2007. The creek was restocked with pure Apache trout in summer 2008.
Objectives:
- The purpose of this project is to remove nonnative species and restore Apache Trout to the creek.
