Western Native Trout Initiative

WNTI Steering Committee Appointees announced

On Wednesday, July 16, 2008, the Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Directors gave their stamp of approval to the new Western Native Trout Initiative (WNTI) Steering Committee which will guide the Initiative as it seeks to implement the Plan for Strategic Actions. The new Steering Committee, not surprisingly, looks a lot like the old WNTI Management Team as many members expressed a desire to remain heavily involved in the effort to improve the status of western native trout. There have been a few changes in recent months however and the names on the list have undergone some revision.

The structure of the Steering Committee is as follows:
